Chunky Baby

D: Everett has ninja skills. Namely, the skill of spitting up on me without me knowing. My poor shirts...

The babe's a chunk. He weighed in at 14 lbs 12 oz and measured 23 in at his two month appointment. We love his pediatrician: she's this older lady who talks a mile a minute. She just laughed while we went over our medical histories. Poor baby has family members who've been through a lot. His eye color hasn't changed much, so we think he's going to have my eye color. He'll probably have to wear sunglasses, too. Other than future possibilities, he's really healthy! I promise!

My dad snapped this picture as we were preparing for his (Everett's, not Dad's) bath. Look at his Popeye arms! And Alicia's adorable new haircut.

Here we observe the Everett in his natural habit: sleeping in the swing. The outfit he's wearing is a 3-6 month. The undershirt is actually the hospital shirt. The cheeks.

The night before Everett's blessing, my family and Daniel's family came over for dinner. Daniel grabbed Everett right when he came in. Hannah, sensing an opportunity, put Elise in his other arm. In their previous interactions, Elise had attempted to pull his hair (Hannah calls it her "hair envy"). Lo and behold, these two look the same size!
