Little Pirate

D: The last video is the reason I wanted to post, but then I realized we should post the other Pirate pictures too. Enjoy!

Avast!

I'll surely avoid scurvy if I eat this orange...

Pilfering

His imitation is really good.

Too good...

Trunk-or-Treat

Everett had a Toy Story bucket for Trunk or Treating. He didn't collect any candy, though. We didn't want to get fat.

Kid's Museum, Touchdown!, Block Tower

Mobius Science Center - Photo Courtesy Heather Roth

Today while Dallin went to the first day of the Washington State Association of School Psychologists Conference, Everett and I went to the Mobius Children's Museum. I did not bring my camera so I found some pictures of it from the internet. It had hands-on science, culture, and art activities. With lots of toys, instruments, climbing structures, dress-up clothes, etc. He loved it. He was happy pretty much the whole time. Despite many other more extravagant exhibits, I'd say his favorite thing was either the "sand" box with toys in rice, or this log that he could crawl through.

While watching BYU beat Georgia Tech, we remembered how adorable it was that our niece Tessa  *
was taught by her parents to say "Touchdown!" and put her arms up. So we tried it with Everett:

The problem with doing this at dinner time is that he got food in his hair every time he put his hands above his head:

Catch, hats, daddy bonding

Daddy's hat
 2nd new outfit for church

I will get to these crackers!

And the end of that video leads us to this next video...

D: I had a rash of migraines this past week. Everett was surprisingly empathetic.

The book says "put your hand on top of mine". So he did so with my hand.

He took Dallin's hand and did something less kind to it.

He successfully put Dallin's hat on and so as Dallin attempted to catch him do it again on video, he just hit himself in the face with it:

Catch?
