Adeline had a few weeks where she did a lot of shaking her head "no".
He has also picked up on noncommittal words "I'm just thinking kind of something."
Examples in this video of him talking to his cousin on a block phone. He mostly talks to Elise in his pretend chats.
We have gone to the pool about five times this summer.
Everett likes to:
jump from the side into someone's arms or right in front of them
push Kira in (She says she doesn't mind.)
blow bubbles just below the surface
sit on the side of the pool, lower himself into the water, and then pull himself onto the side again
Cooking with Daddy. He loves to break eggs and mix ingredients. Mommy loves not having to cook.
Blocks: His new favorite things to build are spaceships, tables, railroad tracks, and "let down your hair" (Rapunzel's) towers. Coincidentally, those are Adeline's favorite things to destroy. (Both of these castles were built with assistance.)

Sorry for the blurry.
Letters
Everett can identify about seven letters and started making them out of toys the last few days.
"M for Mommy"
"The monkey needs to watch tv"
More crawling!
We're still working on sharing...
We tried motivating her with toys to get her to crawl, and then were jerks for not letting her have them.
And then she just wanted to go down the hall with nothing to motivate her but shoes.
Just because she's cute pictures:
This is how she sits when she stops mid-crawl.
Our new adventure: two kids, one room.
Joel, Staci, and Rachel came over General Conference weekend
