It's a Marrvelous Life: Adventures with two mobile kids

A couple of weeks ago, Adeline's two front teeth came in on top. So now she has four. She spent the first week getting used to them by grinding them together, and when I tried to stop her she would grind them together with my finger in between. I learned pretty fast to leave her alone.

Adeline had a few weeks where she did a lot of shaking her head "no".

Our little malaprop man. A little while ago we went to a ward family home evening at our bishop's home. Everett kept asking, "Are we going to the spaceship's house?"

He has also picked up on noncommittal words "I'm just thinking kind of something."
Examples in this video of him talking to his cousin on a block phone. He mostly talks to Elise in his pretend chats.

Swimming:
We have gone to the pool about five times this summer.
Everett likes to:
jump from the side into someone's arms or right in front of them
push Kira in (She says she doesn't mind.)
blow bubbles just below the surface
sit on the side of the pool, lower himself into the water, and then pull himself onto the side again

Cooking with Daddy. He loves to break eggs and mix ingredients. Mommy loves not having to cook.

Blocks: His new favorite things to build are spaceships, tables, railroad tracks, and "let down your hair" (Rapunzel's) towers. Coincidentally, those are Adeline's favorite things to destroy. (Both of these castles were built with assistance.)
