In the most recent blog post, I mentioned we helped out at the Bluff clean-up. It turns out: 2.63 tons of metal were recycled and a half ton of trash (including 27 tires) was hauled off to the dump.
Everett really likes his belly button. There have been a few times recently where he has come out of a pair of pants or pulled off a shirt. I was right, he may end up with nudist tendencies.
Ben and Kira taught him how to fist bump. And how to tackle.
Kira, Everett, and I went to the Family Fun Fair at Riverfront Park. Kira said that as long as she got to see the llama, she would be happy. We tried the bounce house, but Ev was terrified. Though he was not a fan of any individual part of the fair, Everett was happy to be out and about.
D: The Petting Zoo. These are my favorites. Notice how Everett is trying to escape in pretty much all of these pictures.
He actually was trying to find a way out, no joke. See this other little kid touching the adorable, unbelievably soft baby chicks, yeah that wasn't my child.
The Looff Carousel
He got a little freaked out when it picked up speed. With all of the music, dinging, lights, colors, and movement in all directions, I couldn't blame him. (I rode with him, I just got off to take the picture.)
We had a lovely stroll through parts of Manito Park.
The Lilac Garden
The Ferris Perrenial Garden (Still part of Manito Park: It's huge!)
My Friday hike was on Centennial Trail near Maribeau Park.
Bunny (middle, left)
He enjoyed himself. Really.
