Observations

A:
Some cute things Everett does: 1) one sided smile + soft laugh + rumbling belly (he does this while sleeping sometimes which is definitely the cutest thing ever) 2) sigh while eating 3) smile 4) stretch 5) yawn 6) make a pitiful deep frown with a trembling lip hanging out, just before crying (maybe it's wrong to find this cute because he's obviously not happy, but oh that face!) 7) sneeze 8) burp (it's cute because he's so little and it's so loud) 9) open his eyes really wide in dim light 10) majorly fail at finding food with eyes closed and mouth searching the surrounding area 11) look "milk drunk" after eating with the pattern from my shirt on his face

I usually bump into things. But now that I have a son that I carry around with me, I have to pay more attention to where my body is in reference to other objects so that I don't bump him into things.

I noticed today that Everett's pants have real, working pockets. What does he need pockets for? Some of my pants don't have real, working pockets! I can't think of one of my pajama pants that have pockets, yet all of Dallin's pj's do. Dallin's swim trunks do too. I have had multiple pairs of pants over the years that have fake pockets. What, because women own purses they don't need pockets? It's sexist I tell you, sexist!

Some positives about feeding Everett in the middle of the night: 1) it is obvious what he wants, which is not the case during the day 2) he usually falls asleep when he's done and so I can sleep too 3) it's time that only I can share with him

I don't mind changing diapers all that much. I especially don't mind when Everett doesn't mind. I probably will mind more when he eats more than milk and they get messier and smellier. Now, this doesn't mean that I wouldn't let you change his diaper if you volunteered to do so.
