Summer 2016 (Before baby's birth)

Playing in the "Sprinkles"
Everett talked about this for many days before it was warm enough to actually happen. He was super excited right up until the moment he realized it meant getting wet and said, "I don't want to get wet."

The roses were in bloom, so Dallin went on a picture spree to capture the beauty.

We had a random cold and rainy week this July, but we found a couple days in the middle of it to go swimming with the kids and Kira and Benjamin.

Dallin's cousin Devon, his wife Whitney, and their daughter came for a visit and we had a picnic and played at the splashpad

No baby yet. The non-stress test on Tuesday showed the baby is healthy, and maybe a bit chunky. There have been no signs of early stages of labor at all. We did schedule an induction for next week if baby hasn't come by then. Hopefully baby comes soon.

Visit from Grandpa, May and June holidays

Visit From Grandpa

Each morning was playtime for the kids and Grandpa, followed by a little outing, lunch, naps for everyone, and a family dinner and get-together each night.

St. John's Cathedral
We viewed " a ground-breaking interfaith East-West contemporary art exhibit featuring 47 premier Christian, Muslim and Jewish artists" inside the newer portion of the church and then did a self-tour of the cathedral.  These pics were taken as quick snapshots with my phone so they don't really show how massive or gorgeous it is. It was the last Gothic-style cathedral built in the United States.

These next two pictures are from what Everett calls "The City Park", an area on the hill by the senior/retirement community we live by that one resident has turned into a little park. It features drift-wood lined trails, figurines, a porch swing, a fire-pit, and an assortment of "reclaimed" furniture.

Dallin got a tomato plant and a hanging flower basket for his birthday. The kids love them too.

And now for some more picture stealing!
