Every once in a while, the kids play really well together. Those are great times. - D

Everett and Adeline had two weeks of swim lessons and we saw a drastic change in them. By the end, Everett was going on the slide and diving board by himself with just arm floaties and Adeline preferred hanging out in the deep end versus the shallow end with her puddle jumper. Peter has also been very adventurous in the water; he hung out with Dallin during the other kids' swim lessons and wanted to try everything.

Peter turned 2!

 

As Peter's father, I would like to say a few words about Peter on this, the occasion of his second birthday. Peter has grown into a very happy child. His smile brightens everyone around him. He can be a bit stubborn. He loves food. Jackie shared a story with us from when she took the grandkids to Dairy Queen. When the other kids got up to play on the playset, Peter worked his way around the table, eating all of the food that was left. Food is life.

Welcome to the world little Abram. We're sure you won't be little for long. He's a great sleeper - he sleeps right through the kids running amok around him. 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

The kids have had a lot of fun with family coming in to see the new baby. We had a great visit from Julie and Grandma Marr.

 

  

 

Peter started out super obsessed with Abram. Rather than being jealous of other people holding someone other than him, he was upset because he was not the one holding the baby.

 

Today Peter rocked the bassinet (it was already on the floor) and tipped it to the side. Dallin and I tried to look calm as we hastened over to check on Abram, only to find him still sleeping soundly.

When Peter asked if he could hold Abram, I told him to sit first. So he sat in his dump truck and held out his arms.
